The Association of Art Museum Curators is THE resource for curators.

AAMC & AAMC Foundation celebrate the curatorial narrative by being a voice for all art curators—regardless of field, experience level, and institutional type, and we ensure that the curatorial perspective on art, museums, and educational issues is actively communicated to the public, media, and museum profession.

We are the only professional membership organization offering professional development, leadership skills, and direct connections for art curators working in the not-for-profit sector.  All of our programming and overall efforts shall strive to be representative of diversity: across self-identifications (by nation, gender, creed, race), fields of expertise, types of institutional mission, and regional position, of participants. The more diverse our voices, the more dynamic our offerings. Museum and independent curators from around the globe are welcome to apply for membership.
