AAMC Awards for Excellence in 2009

The membership of the Association of Art Museum Curators (AAMC) is encouraged to submit nominations now for the following six prizes to be awarded to AAMC Members in recognition of distinguished publications and exhibitions produced in 2009 (self-nominations are welcome and encouraged):
Outstanding Permanent Collection Catalogue of 2009 by an AAMC member
Outstanding Exhibition Catalogue of 2009 by an AAMC member
Outstanding Article, catalogue essay, or extended catalogue entry of 2009 by an AAMC member
Note: Catalogue essays submitted for review in this category may be by a contributing author or the primary author of the publication (primary authors are also qualified to be nominated in the outstanding catalogue category above).
Outstanding Exhibition or Installation of 2009 in a museum in Pacific and Mountain Time zones (including Alaska and Hawaii), organized by an AAMC member
Outstanding Exhibition or Installation of 2009 in a museum in the
Central Time zone, organized by an AAMC member
Outstanding Exhibition or Installation of 2009 in a museum in the
Eastern Time zone, organized by an AAMC member

Nominations for all awards must be made by a current AAMC member and must be submitted electronically through one of more of the forms listed below:

NOTE: All Nominations Must Be Received By February 15, 2010
Juried panels comprised of AAMC members will determine publication awards.
A vote of the full AAMC membership in April 2010 will determine exhibition awards.
Awards will be presented at the AAMC meeting in Chicago on May 17, 2010.
