The Membership Committee is concerned with assuring that the body of AAMC members is inclusive, fair and representative of the broad and diverse specialties of curators from museums of all sizes from across the nation. It is the goal of the Committee to attain the widest possible representation of fields.

Membership in the AAMC is automatically open to all curators (assistant curator through senior or chief curator) with direct responsibility for works of art at any the museums represented in the Association of Art Museum Directors.
