Mobile Technology & Curatorial Practice

Curators are increasingly faced with the challenge of using mobile technology in new and imaginative ways. This exciting webinar examines the interaction between mobile and art museums, exploring the most recent and inventive collection and exhibition apps; it also explores new mobile ways for engaging audiences such as gaming and interactive animation. The three presenters, Rob Stein (incoming Deputy Director, Dallas Museum of Art), Jane Burton (Head of Creative Media, Tate Modern) and Reza Ali (independent technology specialist) are all in the forefront of developing new mobile strategies around art. Moderated by Simon Kelly, Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, Saint Louis Art Museum.
