The Association of Art Museum Curators (AAMC) & AAMC Foundation 2020 Art Curators Conference, May 2-6, 2020 in Seattle will focus on advancing curatorial work and arts organizations beyond the traditional and perceived thresholds and boundaries. Early bird registration opens Wednesday, January 15, 12 PM ET and closes Tuesday, February 18, 12 PM ET. General registration closes on Monday, March 16, 12 PM ET.

AAMC & AAMC Foundation’s next Art Curators Conference will be held May 2–6, 2020 in Seattle, WA. This year we anticipate nearly 400 curators from around the globe to join us for content focusing on advancing curatorial work and art organizations beyond traditional and perceived thresholds and boundaries. Conversations and dialogues will reconsider linear narratives, challenge concepts of borders, investigate social and cross-cultural interactions, and engage in activism.

 

REGISTRATION

Registration is open to active AAMC members. Early bird registration opens Wednesday, January 15, 12 PM ET and closes Tuesday, February 18, 12 PM ET.  General registration closes on Monday, March 16, 12 PM ET. 

All attendees must pick up their nametag at the Conference registration desk at the W Hotel before attending any Conference events.

All Conference sessions will be held at the W Hotel, 1112 4th Ave, Seattle, WA, 98101. Book your discounted hotel room at the W today before the room block closes on April 1st.  

 

TRANSPORTATION

Purchase a bus ticket to reserve round-trip bus transportation between the W Hotel and the Welcome Reception, Awards for Excellence Reception, Members' Reception, and Tuesday Reception. Select your bus ticket when completing your Conference registration.
