AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN PRINTED CATALOGUE OR PUBLICATION CATEGORIES

Nominations for all awards must be made by a current AAMC member and can only be submitted electronically. Nominated curators do not need to be AAMC members but must be eligible for membership and become a member should they be selected as an Awardee. Self nominations are encouraged and welcomed. A nominator may submit more than one nomination in one or many categories.

Nominations are submitted in the following operating budget categories:

• Organization with operating budgets under $5 million
  
• Organization with operating budgets between $5 - $15 million
• Organization with operating budgets between $15 - $30 million
• Organization with operating budgets over $30 million

Those selected for an Award are notified by AAMC & AAMC Foundation directly and will be asked to confirm attendance at the Conference, and exact listings for the Awards. Attendance at the Conference is not required to receive an Award, but we do hope that Awardees will make every effort to participate. Awardees must be or become an AAMC member, and therefore must be eligible for membership. The Awardees are announced at the Annual Conference & Meeting during an Awards for Excellence reception, which will take place on Sunday, May 6 in Montreal Canada.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING A NOMINATION

• All entries must have been on published January 1 - December 31, 2017
• Nominations for the 2018 Awards will open on October 2, 2017 and the final deadline for nominations is 12 pm ET on January 4, 2018.  Please note this deadline is firm.
• Awardees must be or become an AAMC member. 
• Self nominations are welcomed and encouraged 
• Complete all fields below and upload all required documents. Non-complete nominations will not be considered.
• The Exhibition Checklist must be submitted with each catalog and as a pdf.

MAILING INSTRUCTIONS 

• Each nominee need to be prepared to send 6-7 copies of the publication.  One copy each will be sent by the nominee or nominator to each juror, the Award Committee Chair, and to AAMC. It is the responsibility of the nominee or nominator to ensure copies are delivered NO LATER THAN January 4, 2018. Late arrivals will not be accepted.
