AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE 
For decades, The Awards for Excellence,  highly esteemed by art curators everywhere, was the only award of its kind by which curators directly honor their colleagues. The Awards honored work that created connections and fostered engagement between nonprofit art organizations and communities. Nominations from outside the U.S. were welcome and encouraged. The subject matter covered any field and/or topic relevant to the curatorial field, however, we sought to award original curatorial content that addresses issues in social justice, activism, diversity, access, equity, and inclusion.  The AAMC Foundation is currently reinvestigating the Awards and has paused them for the foreseeable future.
