Wellness Webinar Series

Live Webinars

Thursday, April 8, 2021

1:00 – 2:15pm ET

Description

While uncertainty feels bigger in our current moment, the future is always uncharted. A positive mindset is key to coping in an array of difficult circumstances. Join Seema Rao to reflect on ways unknowns have manifested in cultural organizations over the past year and learn creative ways to move forward with confidence.

Series Description

Over the course of six months, AAMC will present for its members a series focused on wellness.  Beginning in October, the monthly series will build upon the conversations prior with a goal supporting our community as individuals, as well as curators.  Each session will build a wellness practice into the start or conclusion of each program.  Our approach is not a methodology of one singular way towards achieving balance; and we hope to include areas of pursuit that include physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social and environmental.

The six areas of focus will center around: Building a Foundation; Centering Self Care & Stress Reduction; Nourishing Body & Soul; Managing Collective Trauma, Loss & Grief; Facing the Unknown; and Balancing Life Demands.

More will be announced as individual sessions are confirmed. These webinars will not be recorded or available after the live session.

This series is open to all. It is free for AAMC members and $10 for nonmembers.
