Searching for New Positions

Live Webinars

Tuesday, April 13

12:30-1:45pm ET

Description

Preparing for an interview can be stressful, but it is important to consider ways to best position yourself. What experiences should be highlighted during your interview? What will it mean to interview by video versus in-person? This second conversation will include advice on how to prepare for interviews, how to think about framing your experience and perspectives on the field, how the format of interviewing has evolved in the time of COVID, and more.

Series Description

Providing insight and guidance into employment searches and career planning, particularly within the ongoing shifts in our arts community,  AAMC is offering current members the opportunity to hear from three well-respected search firms.  Adjusting to changing interview processes, presenting oneself through online profiles and updated resumes, prioritizing inclusion, equity and access in the arts, and understanding the needs of hiring organizations is critical regardless of job search level.  The three sessions will investigate Updating Profiles, Interviewing, and Post-Interviewing with representatives from Koya Partners, Russell Reynolds, and Arts Consulting Group respectively.  Providing the unique perspective from each firm, each individual session will target specific stages of a job search, while also including overarching insight into the process.

These webinars will not be recorded or available after the live session.

This series is open current AAMC members.
