Inspiration and Opportunity: Art History Reflects on its Past to Determine its Future

A team of 2010 Fellows of the Center for Curatorial Leadership will discuss findings from a recent survey that elicited almost 700 responses from both curators and academics about education, training, and the reasons behind career choices. Lessons for the future are embedded in the surprising results. Discussion with chairs of art history departments, museum curators, foundation representatives and those who attend this session will address strategies for creative solutions to the academic/museum conundrum.
