Are you thinking about making a career move? In this session, we will discuss how best to present yourself through your resume, online profile, and social media channels. Our aim is to get you to position the breadth of your experience, curatorial and leadership accomplishments in a way that signals to prospective organizations and hiring managers that you are amply ready to join their culture and make a positive impact on programmatic efforts.

Series Description

Providing insight and guidance into employment searches and career planning, particularly within the ongoing shifts in our arts community,  AAMC is offering current members the opportunity to hear from three well-respected search firms.  Adjusting to changing interview processes, presenting oneself through online profiles and updated resumes, prioritizing inclusion, equity and access in the arts, and understanding the needs of hiring organizations is critical regardless of job search level.  The three sessions will investigate Updating Profiles, Interviewing, and Post-Interviewing with representatives from Koya Partners, Russell Reynolds, and Arts Consulting Group respectively.  Providing the unique perspective from each firm, each individual session will target specific stages of a job search, while also including overarching insight into the process.

Sessions will be recorded. Only those registered will be provided access to the recordings.

While Stephen calls New York home, at Koya Partners he serves clients around the country, focusing on a wide variety of senior-level placements in the mission-driven and education sectors. In particular, Stephen has deep experience in the field of arts and culture with expertise in both curatorial and functional leadership.
