The panel will discuss aspects of Curatorial Artivism, the practice that commits counter-hegemonic initiatives to give voice to those who have been silenced or omitted - predominantly people of color and low-income households, giving platforms to highlight and address the deep fissures caused by the exclusion of those from the lower classes and those dealing with racial bias daily.

Through Deep Conversation, the panel discusses how facilitators can lift and give power to the unseen and unheard to highlight and address the deep fissures that arise from the erasure of people and cultures in our arts organizations and how grassroots initiatives can seek to reinvent structures within the arts to center themselves in surrounding community.
