January 24, 2022, NEW YORK, NY — AAMC Foundation is accepting applications for twelve 2022 Conference Fellowships to attend the 2022 Art Curators Conference, in-person, in New York City (NYC), April 30 - May 3. Since 2010, over 450 curators from around the globe have benefited by being awarded a Conference Fellowship to attend the only international Conference dedicated solely to the curatorial profession. Applications to the 2022 Fellowship are being accepted until February 7, 2022, 5:00pm ET.
Each fellow will receive 1-year complimentary AAMC membership, Conference registration, Members’ Party ticket, and a $525 stipend for travel and accommodation. Open only to visual arts curators in the nonprofit sector, applicants cannot have previously received an AAMC Foundation Art Curators Conference Fellowship and/or be receiving Conference support through another AAMC Foundation initiative. Applications are encouraged and desired from those representative of diversity by self-identifiers, including race, ethnicity, and gender.
The preeminent Art Curators Conference will return to NYC in 2022 for in-person and virtual gatherings, sessions, keynotes, and networking. AAMC the flagship organization supporting, advancing, and promoting the nonprofit art curator, inclusive of all fields of work, hosts the only global event solely for curators. Centered on the theme of Sustainability & Revitalization, the 2022 Conference will investigate ways forward for the arts community and investigate the curatorial field’s future.
