Personal Finance 101

Understanding managing your personal finances is always important.  However, with the current economic climate and its reductions in salary and layoffs, knowing more is vital.  Participants will learn how to identify personal financial goals, understand debt, determine emergency fund needs, and develop and implement saving strategies. At all stages of life it is important to take stock of your current financial situation and plan for the future.  The arts workforce does not always have direct access to learn about managing personal finances from experts, and this is an excellent opportunity to do so.
