AAMC is currently seeking nominations for the Awards for Excellence, our annual award dedicated to recognizing affiliated and independent curators whose work offers new methodologies, considers the public’s understanding, and advances the field. Since their launch in 2004, nearly 170 curators have received an award from AAMC. It is the only recognition of its kind by which curators directly honor the work of their colleagues, and are highly esteemed by the arts community. The 2019 nomination period will close in December, so please mark the deadline on your calendar: All nominations must be submitted through our online portal by 12PM ET on Friday, December 14. We strongly encourage early submissions, so click here to submit your nomination today!

All nominations must be submitted by AAMC members in good standing, and we encourage self-nominations. Nominated curators do not need to be AAMC members but must be eligible for membership and become a member should they be selected as an Awardee. If you have concerns about this, please contact the AAMC offices and visit our website to review criteria for membership.
